Watch your loved ones eyes light up when they receive this beautiful, personalized handmade gift.  Or make one to enhance your own holiday decor!  This adorable Moose Shelf Sitter with optional photo frame is the perfect addition to any home.  Sitting approx 11 inches in height with a 4” x 4” frame when made with your favourite Bulky (5) yarn or a double strand of Medium (4) weight.

To make Melvin the Moose I used a combination of Knit Picks Brava Bulky (5) and a double strand of Knit Picks Brava Worsted (4) depending on the colour I was using. The best part is that a double strand or worsted (4) is very similar in gauge to bulky (5). I also used Knit Picks Fable Fur as an accent for Melvin’s Hat and Belt.

I absolutely love all of these yarn and found they worked perfectly for this project! The Knit Picks Brava yarn line is a very well priced soft, durable quality acrylic with so many beautiful colours to choose from.

Note: This is an Intermediate Design but the pattern includes detailed photos and links to stitch tutorial videos to help you along the way.
